The AxiomLED Metal Halide retrofit system is a modular technology designed to fit any 250 Watt Metal Halide Fixture. This is not a replacement fixture or the head of a fixture, it is the components you would use to retrofit any metal halide fixture used in parking lots, college or school campuses, and in industrial business parks.
The MH250 is a unique LED system that works with the existing Metal Halide inductor and is designed to condition the metal halide inductor to work with the LED panel. The LED panel has built in safety protection technology that enables the system to be used in any fixture and in any climate.
The MH250 system consumes only 62 Watts and has an output comparable to a 250 Watt Metal Halide.
The product uses Nichia of Japan LM80 tested and proven LED technology that has survived 100 Celsius ambient testing at 80% relative humidity for over 8,000 hours.
AxiomLED provides guidelines on how you can manufacture angle brackets and flat aluminum mounting plates to attach the LED panel and LED conditioner units into any fixture.
